1. Introduction

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Rosse, a web application available at rosse.ai (the "Service"), operated by Uzair Hussain Sheikh ("we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service. By registering for an account, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3. Account Registration

To use the Service, you must create an account by providing your name, email address, and a password. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately at hi@rosse.ai if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that we reasonably believe are being used in violation of these Terms.

4. Description of the Service

Rosse is a personal productivity assistant that connects to your existing tools and services — including email, calendar, messaging, project management, and code repositories — to provide unified briefings, surface open loops, and suggest actions. The Service uses artificial intelligence to analyse data from your connected accounts and generate insights.

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not guarantee that the AI-generated briefings, summaries, or suggested actions will be accurate, complete, or error-free.

5. Connected Third-Party Services

The Service allows you to connect third-party accounts such as Gmail, Slack, Linear, GitHub, Google Calendar, Microsoft Teams, GitLab, Notion, Jira, and Microsoft Outlook. By connecting these services, you authorise Rosse to access and process data from those accounts in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of Rosse in connection with third-party services complies with the terms and policies of those services. We are not responsible for any third-party service's availability, accuracy, or conduct.

You may disconnect any third-party service at any time. Upon disconnection, data from that service is deleted immediately.

6. Plans and Pricing

Rosse offers both free and paid subscription plans. Details of current plans, features, and pricing are available on our Pricing page.

We reserve the right to modify our plans and pricing at any time. If you are on a paid plan, we will provide reasonable notice of any price changes before they take effect. Continued use of a paid plan after a price change constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.

7. Payments and Billing

Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. By subscribing to a paid plan, you agree to provide accurate and complete billing information and authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis in accordance with your chosen plan.

All fees are stated in the currency displayed at the point of purchase and are non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If payment fails, we may suspend access to paid features until the payment issue is resolved.

8. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your paid subscription at any time through your account settings. Upon cancellation, you will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.

We reserve the right to offer refunds at our sole discretion.

9. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party rights.

  • Transmit any malware, viruses, or harmful code.

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service, other accounts, or any related systems.

  • Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.

  • Use the Service for any fraudulent, abusive, or otherwise harmful purpose.

  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the Service.

  • Use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Service except through our authorised interfaces.

  • Resell, sublicense, or commercially redistribute the Service or any output generated by the Service without our prior written consent.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms.

10. Intellectual Property

All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service — including its design, code, AI models, branding, and documentation — are and remain the property of Uzair Hussain Sheikh. These Terms do not grant you any rights to our trademarks, logos, or brand features.

You retain ownership of any data you provide to or connect with the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to access, process, and analyse your data solely for the purpose of providing and improving the Service.

11. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence to generate briefings, summaries, and suggested actions based on your connected data. You acknowledge and agree that:

  • AI-generated outputs may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions.

  • You are solely responsible for reviewing and acting upon any AI-generated content.

  • We do not guarantee any specific outcome or result from using the Service.

  • AI-generated actions (such as drafting replies) require your approval before they are executed.

12. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your data. By using the Service, you consent to the practices described in the Privacy Policy.

13. Data Deletion

You may delete your account at any time through the Service. Upon deletion, all your personal data, account information, and connected service data will be permanently deleted immediately. This action is irreversible.

14. Availability and Modifications

We strive to keep the Service available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of significant changes.

We are not liable to you or any third party for any modification, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

15. Disclaimer of Warranties

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We do not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, that it will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free, or that the results obtained from the Service will be accurate or reliable.

16. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Uzair Hussain Sheikh shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with your use of or inability to use the Service.

Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the total amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim, or £100, whichever is greater.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.

17. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Uzair Hussain Sheikh from and against any claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of a third party.

18. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

19. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal, or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.

20. Entire Agreement

These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding your use of the Service and supersede any prior agreements or understandings.

21. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree with the changes, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.
